Monastic Live-in Weekend

A special invitation to the students of Saint John's University from Br. Paul Vincent Niebauer OSB.

An important aspect of our vocations ministry is inviting our own students to come and see what monastic life is all about. The kinds of invitations that we extend change with the times that students are with us on campus.

Dates
November 30 to December 1, 2007
January 25 to 27, 2008

Move into a private room in the monastery after Mass on Friday and depart after lunch on Sunday.

Have you ever wondered what happens at Saint John's when school is out? When students go on breaks and vacations, the monks whose home is Saint John's in Collegeville continue their Christ-centered life of prayer, work and community. We invite you to spend a few days sharing our life and getting to know us better. You will pray, work, eat and recreate with us with time to deepen your spiritual life, too!

Space is limited to six students for any weekend.

Contact Br. Paul-Vincent Niebauer OSB at 2548 or send an e-mail to learn more, or to reserve a place.

March 19 to 23, 2008 (Triduum Retreat in Holy Week)

Join us for prayer
Students are always welcome to join the monks for daily prayers and Eucharist. The schedule of services is posted online and on CSB|SJU Channel 24. Please come up to the choir stalls on the west side of the altar, and a monk will help you. Seating for Sunday Eucharist is in the main body of the Church.
