FOR OVER TWO DECADES, the Saint John’s Abbey Benedictine Volunteer Corps (BVC) has provided transformative experiences for recent graduates of Saint John’s University, with over 315 young men dedicating up to a year’s volunteer service in Benedictine monasteries worldwide. Embodying the values received at Saint John’s during their time of study at Saint John’s, they have integrated with host communities globally, making positive impacts in 25 locations over 20 years. Their work addresses critical needs, builds bridges, and forges connections, but requires support. The Abbey covers operational, travel, health, and living costs and provides a monthly stipend to manage personal affairs. Ongoing donations from our donors are required to help support this program. Thank you to all who have contributed in the past.
