This week’s collection will be donated in support of the Retirement Fund for Religious.

For many years, religious sisters, brothers, and priests educated millions, founded hospitals, and reinvested community earnings in their ministries. Aging members were cared for by new members. However, as membership declined, it became clear that elderly members would far outnumber young, wage-earning members. In gratitude for what religious have so selflessly given, the Retirement Fund for Religious was established to help ensure that the health care needs of elderly religious women and men are met with dignity and respect.
