Father Daniel Durken OSB
Father Daniel's hometown is Pemberton, Minnesota. He entered the monastery in 1950 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1956. His career has included administrative and academic posts, and he was a scripture professor for many years in the University. He also served as Dean of Men and Director of Liturgical Press for many years. Clever with words and skilled crafter of titles and headlines, Father Daniel currently serves as Senior Editor at the Liturgical Press and Editor of the Abbey's magazine, The Abbey Banner.
