COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. -- The following twelve awards were given to publications of Liturgical Press at the annual Catholic Press
Association convention in Brooklyn, New York, May 23-25, 2007:
- First Place:

E. Cook, S.C. "The scholarship is contemporary, careful and sensitive to text-based understandings of the biblical world."

or renovation project."
- Design and Production - Psalms: The Saint John's Bible, handwritten and illuminated by
Donald Jackson. "One of the seven-volume series that reproduces the magnificent Saint
John's Bible."
- Best Web Site - www.litpress.org. "The layout of this site is clean and interesting. There
is a lot of content with great variety, well arranged with featured items prominently dis-
played in the center. Navigation is easy and a search bar is helpful."
- Second Place:

Professional Books - Freeing Celibacy by Donald Cozzens. "This book is a true standout. Cozzens clearly presents his subject, ignores no part of it, and produces a truly
balanced and compelling argument."
- Best Web Site - www.sjbible.org. "The layout is simple but very attractive."
