Division
The pipes are grouped into several separate sections called divisions. Each one has a name and is controlled through its own manual (keyboard) or the pedalboard. There are several manual divisions and the most common are: Great, Swell, and Choir or Positive. There is only one Pedal division (The Pipe Organ Glossary).
